New version of composer 7 has been released: 4.6.3165.2. 12.11.2008
This new version has the following new important features and improvements: scheduled display deactivation, native PowerPoint playback, project deployment via removable media / DVD (CD) / shared network folders, support of embedded projects, French and Spanish GUIs, simplified setup procedure for network connectivity, RSS object with html formatting, support of Windows XP Embedded, improved text object and ticker quality.

New version of composer network services has been released: 3.5.0.8. 08.9.2008
This release was implemented to interact with composer/player 7 starting with version 4.3 where the network connectivity was simplified. I.e. there is no need to install client service and CMS Extension Pack separately because these applications just became parts of composer/player 7. Also, composer network services now supports Windows Server 2003 and 2008 (starting with Web Edition) as well as Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition or above.
